It's always so cozy to sneak back to a familiar pattern like the granny square. I don't have to think about anything except what colours I want to use.
And sometimes the less thinking, the better.
Seriously. This is a lesson I've learned in spades.

Nothing wrong with relying on a little granny square help every now and then. Nothing at all.
